~ Introductory Riding Lessons ~
  We offer a "complimentary short lesson" in our
riding ring to help you or your child decide
whether riding is going to be something you would
like to continue with.

Beginner ~ Starting at $35 for 1 hour semi private lesson. 
For those new to riding  this class will teach you
how to halter, lead, groom and tack a horse, as well as
safety awareness.  While mounted you will learn correct
posture, how to walk and trot independently in an arena with
others and steer a horse through an obstacle course. 
Balance is a crucial component learned at this stage.
Beginner/Intermediate ~ $40 per 1 hour semi private
this class advances the skills such as stirrup and girth
 adjustments, balance, steering/control, coordination, and
 problem solving.  Skills at the trot such as 2-point position,
circles, serpentines and  figure 8's become a focus.  A student
may spend as many sessions as necessary at this level to
become competent before   advancing  to the intermediate level.
Intermediate/Advanced ~ $45-$50 per hour private and semi-private.  Once we have helped you master  the    beginner/intermediate skills we will move on to lateral movements,   different lengths of stride and pace, and teach you how to get your   horse  "on the bit".  This will be coordinated with learning  jumping,  dressage or western reining techniques.
 
Trailer-ins welcome for lessons and training. 
Private training can be arranged for starting or re-starting under saddle.  
$50 per hour one on one training session at your farm. 
$40 to trailer-in for one hour training session.
